I found the Example Sketches (not sure how I missed it before).

So far, the only thing that works (compiles, uploads, functions) seems to be the LED blinky sketch. This is true for both the Wemos D1 and NodeMCU v3. I've tried both IDE 1.6.5 and 1.6.7 to no avail. I'll try some of the sketches in the above sub forum and cross my fingers that SOMETHING will function!
