ESP8266 Community Forum

This might be a silly question, but I would like to create an Android App which takes an arduino sketch for esp8266, compiles it, and send the compiled firmware to the board OTA.
Do you think this is somewhat possible ? And eventually how ? Can you give me any direction ?

- Thu Sep 29, 2016 2:42 pm #55886 I doubt you can get all the xtensa compiler toolchain running on Android, especially if it is not a rooted device.
