Hello,
sorry, i have missed the new posts here
today, a new ESP arrived (reseller has sent me a new one for free) and i've got the same problem.
yes, i have checked the vcc AND the TX output of my converter, both showed 3.3v
BUT:
i finally got a response from my ESP, i could communicate. But it's not very stable. I have to power cycle the ESP for about 10 times until i can talk to the module. And when i'm pressing the reset-button (on my breadboard) or entering AT+RST, there's hardly a chance to communicate again.
When resetting, i don't see the "ready" or any other readable text, only some random data.
Now i have 2 modules, where SOMETIMES i can communicate
The same problem on both modules. I do not change any configuration/client/wiring ..
I also have tried to power it with an Arduino Mega 2560, but here's the same problem. I will try to use an external 3.3v tomorrow
