I actually forked the NodeMCU repo to do the same, but then I got the key to my new house. Unfortunately I have to concentrate on home improvement right now, but I will test the driver this week!

It is already included in the dev branch, and also in the master branch, although not yet enabled by default.

Hi Markus,
I'm trying to port the oled library from arduino however i have no clue as to how to include it to be part of the firmware. Searching around i came to this thread. Wondering if you can outline and summarise the changes you made to the firmware source to add your library. I'm still struggling to find gpio_map[]
