They tout this feature everywhere, and android seems well supported, but is there any love for ios?

- Fri Feb 27, 2015 3:08 pm #10914 Smart Config is a wifi connectivity protocol which allows configuration a device over wifi without having to directly communicate with the device. It's a form of side band communication. This is what TI uses on their CC3000 devices, and so Espressif included something similar. See this TI Article for how it works
