I keep trying to use nodemcu firmware programmer and sometimes I can get it to show me the mac but usually its blank and the blue light keeps flashing when I try to program it.

To flash, I find it works best to click on Start *then* reset or powercyle the module. Have you tried that?

I've tried to power cycle. That how I can get a Mac to show.

Can you post a picture of how you have it wired so I can make sure I'm setup right?
