Thank you for your answer. I tried to use AMS1117-3.3, but for this dropout voltage is about 1.1V. Therefore this linear regulator will be suitable for 2s li-po/li-ion and unsuitable for one 18650. Which one you use?

Few of them:
- LD1117s30tr, works ok until now even if is going under 3V. Preffered solution for 5V input
- MCP1700 - good for battery setup but 250mA max, quite short on juice sometime
- MCP1825 - better than MCP1700, 500mA.
- APE8865-HF-3 - nice one, depending on your power needs, 300mA only.

The one below looks also nice in datasheet, max 250mA might be to the limit with some ESPmodules type/ setups. If you run a test with it please share the results. Thank you.
