It seems most of the clever guys here working hard to to make nice stuff to play with for guys like me are using Github.
Does anybody have an idiots guide to github terminology, best practices and general use.

Brilliant . Thats a bad sign of who is on this forum

Its a hard site for the non-programmers. When you go there look for the zip button bottom right . Download it and extract and place where they tell you in the readme file or install file .

You can clone it by putting the right statement in a terminal but this sometimes gives permission problems
If you don't want to verify your email they will pester you every time . If you don't want to change your browser they will do the same .

All in all its leading to another overbearing pushy site trying to tell you what to do so I say "F" em and do what I want and "F" the consequences
