ESP8266 Community Forum

- Thu May 14, 2015 8:27 pm #17413 I don't see any reason it wouldn't work. All it is doing is telling the IDE to do the same thing you could do in the gui itself. It says the cmd line interface cannot be used unless there is a some type gui like windows or mac. Linux would require starting XServer or something up for it to work.
