Hello,
I opened up a ESP-07 and a ESP-12E to see if there are any component changes.
first of all the the flash size is different:
ESP-07=4Mbit (25q40bt)
ESP-12E=32Mbit (25032BVSIG)
the only difference is an extra cap on top. and some reroute (break- out some more pins). ill be testing the new esp in the couple of days and ill tell my experiences below.
