just bought myself an ESP8266, and guess what i havent got a clue how to use it.

I guess I need to connect it to an arduino to make it work (Arduino is my platform of choice).

Please can someone point me in the direction of a basic wiring diagram to connect it to an Arduino, and also if poosible a simple sketch say to scan for networks. I just need a gentle push in the right direction.

- Fri May 29, 2015 3:23 am #18823 Still a bit too vague, they're all a bit different so we need to know what sort it is and if its on some sort of breakout board to help you connect it up. Can you see it here, or here, or here, or point to some other picture of it on the internet?
