Really sorry. No good news yet. The cam that was passed to me did not have a WiFi Mode. I am still waiting for a cam that supports WiFi. But i do not have any confirmation unto now.

it is quite interesting.
basically you want a wifi shutter(photo take, video recording start/stop). i cant see any other use case.

Most (?) camera's have a very simple wired remote control connection. It would be easy to have the esp8266 operate the shutter that way. Or do you want more?

I am very interested in using the WiFi enabled board to stream video from a camera module. Has anyone done this, or is the processor even up to the job ?
