?? You have to physically connect to the ESPs serial interface to use ESPlorer. This connection is about as secure as you can get short of removing the Rx/Tx pins and casting the module in Acrylic.

If you are talking about the WiFi then this isn't anything to do with this topic.

Because of Java, it runs nearly everywhere.
Even on a small ARM board (e.g. Raspberry Pi).

Could you point me to a tutorial on how to install & use ESPlorer on a Raspberry Pi please?
I searched a lot, but I didn't find anything...

Can't autodetect firmware, because proper answer not received.
