- Wed Jun 17, 2015 7:02 am #20685 I tried several hours. Several firmware versions 0.9.5, 0.9.6 Even tried compiling own versions. It still does not work.

Then I flashed the latest AT firmware just to confirm it is not a problem with my hardware/module/router/me. This one works. It flawlessly connects, I can open a TCP server and even ping it.

The problem is, I NEEEED Nodemcu. I cannot use the AT firmware. What do I do?

try flashing nodemcu now again.
Maybe your wifi config in flash was corrupted.
Nodemcu flashes typically don't overwrite it, AT flashes typically seem to do.

1.1.1 works
0.9.5 fails
