Can't autodetect firmware, because proper answer not received.

You can disable firmware autodetection on Settings tab

when connecting + or leaving GPIO 0 floating it disconnects the ftdi in windows.

please, use external 3.3v power source (up to 300mA)
FTDI 3.3v pin only 50mA
Its ESP8266, not ESPlorer requirements
