- Actually right now I don't want to flash the Module. Is'nt it pre-loaded with Firmware?

Some people received their module without any firmware pre-installed.
If you are not sure, you can backup the current flash content using esptool, so if you try some other firmware, you can still revert it to the original.

- Tue Aug 11, 2015 11:56 am #25694 My module is the one that has the can and a little board around it and the EN pin is 3. Probably you have the one with a header with 2 rows of pins ... That's not pin3 on that one. Anyway, the EN pin has to be high. Sometime it is also called CH_PD. As the previous responder said, look on the page he pointed you to.
