Thanks for the suggestions - I'll order some P channel mosfets... Thinking a FDN360P will do the trick

With a threshold voltage of 3V max. I would not recommend using that mosfet in a 3.3V application. It would probably work, but might be unreliable or depend on the specific mosfet (due to production tolerances, some might work better than others).

The IRLML6402 would be a better choice (or any other p-fet with V_GS(th) < 2V):
