I tried to put the library in the normal lib folder (see error), also in the esp8266 hardware lib folder. Same error.

In the liquidcrystal lib are both files, LiquidCrystal.cpp and LiquidCrystal_I2C.cpp

- Fri Aug 28, 2015 3:46 pm #27259 Now I found the problem: Was the ESP8266 installation or installed version. I deleted all ESP8266 in the hardware folder and made a new installation for the boards only from
http://arduino.esp8266.com/staging/pack ... index.json
Now works as it should
