I accidently ordered 5 of the ESP-12, but then I was happy as I read what I probalby could do with this hardware.
But currently I got stuck in even get it up and running in "normal mode", meaning just by using the firmware which is on frome delivery and using AT commands.
The problem:
When I power up the unit, I got messages in 74800 Baud:

... and more exceptions.
What I'v tried so far:
As I read here in the board, it may be cause by the power source. So I switched from the originally 3.3V from the YwRobot Power supply to 5V and put a seperate 5v-3.3V level shifter in between. Same result. The YwRobot Power supply itself is feeded by 5V with max. 680mA (which should be fair enough, shouldn't it?).
My current wiring:
H = 3.3V
L = GND
VCC= H
GND= L
CH_PD = H
GPIO0 = H
GPIOO2 = H
GPIO15 = L
I tried it now with 3 different chips. 2 of them were soldered on a breakout board. As I got the Idea, that I maybe burned them while soldering, I wired the 3rd one with "flying wires" meandy just putting the cables in the holes, but that didn't solve the problem either.
So I would be really lucky, if someone could help me getting this stuff running.
Thanks in advance
