I checked the flashrom project and there is no 0xE0 vendor. 0x4014 suggests a 1MB chip and this is also what node.flashsize() says.

I saw a mention of a JEDEC ID here here of "Goldstar", is it possible?

Anyone knows?

- Tue Sep 01, 2015 3:30 pm #27578 Pure coincidence, I've received my first ESP-201 today, and it has that Flash with the Id 1440e0.
Still don't know anything about this chip. (Magnifier didn't help much)

- Sun Sep 20, 2015 10:27 am #29501 I got the same ID out of a ESP-12 I got a few days ago and I'm also wondering about who the manufacturer is and what size it is.
