#29887 LUA Loader (Windows only) and ESPlorer (Java, so most platforms) both have a "cat" function in their GUI. You just need a serial connection to the module and then you can use these utilities.

#29889 Thanks I kind of know that cat didn't work and so did download it said the file was coded to not be downloaded
gave a error. About using cat or download. One file was a .lc file. It's the one I want to see but I done removed it.

#29897 BTW, One of my expected ESP12E that I've received a month ago as in fact an ESP-12Q.
I didn't notice that on the silkscreen at that time, but now that is known, I come to the conclusion that all the other thread about "fake" vs "not fake" ESP-12E maybe become "ESP-12E" vs "ESP-12Q" ...
The main difference between both is the LED is not connect the same way.
Am I right ?

#29898 I got two from bang good just got them in the mail they both where loaded with 3 files. That run webserver I removed those file there esp8266 - 12-Q marked esp12-Q the blue led is hooked to gpio2. The first esp12 I have have the led on the RX pin.

Did your come with the 3 files loaded to them If so do you have the wedserver.lc Thanks Burt.
