Just trying to compile your source to see how it all works. I have the Arduino 1.6.5 IDE and the staging version of the ESP8266 stuff. When I select the Generic ESP8266 the code compiles just too big.

Code: Select allSketch uses 443,746 bytes (102%) of program storage space. Maximum is 434,160 bytes.


Is there any tricks to make this go for 512K or have I got a version of the staging that is just a bit bigger.
I have ordered a 1Meg module as I guess with all the enhancement requests the 512K might be short lived.
I see you have been over to The Back Shed to see where we have come from.

- Thu Nov 05, 2015 6:54 am #33113 I had to manually install from the git hub arduino project by downloading the package and placing it manually in to the arduino folders.

Might be good if I were to upload my whole build environment as as portable version of arduino with all the stuff included.
