Recently ran a trial of a prototype smart badge which collected personal analytics.
The badge contains a custom pcb with ESP8266, charge controller, accelerometer and sensor hub (temp ,humidity,light and noise level) and wafer 200mAh LiPo battery
The badge attaches to the back of a normal conference lanyard, runs for 4-5 days on single charge (using aggressive power control)
