#36741 Hi Martinayotte.

Thanks for all your suggestion. Let me share with you detail and real scenario of my project.

I have a Camera which support WiFi AP Mode. So user can connect the Camera with a SmartPhone App and see/download the picture from the Camera. The Camera have a specific SSID and Password.

Now my target is to extend the range of the Camera WiFi so user can do communicate with the Camera over Internet Cloud.

So I planned to make a WiFi Module based custom PCB which can connect to a HOME WiFi Network (to get Internet access) and as well as connect to Camera AP. Then do routing between the two Network (HOME and Camera) ... something like Inter VLAN Routing.

Please see the attached.

Looking forward your valued advise.

Regards.

#36743 It is what I've doubt ... Serial bridging is not useful here, therefore ESPs neither.
You will need some small Linux board with 2 Wifi dongles and proper "iptables forward rules" and of courses IP forwarding on your Home router too to make all that accessible from outside.
