1K is even a very strong pullup, but it will work.
I would rather choose 4K7 or 10K.

thanks for your help, all seems run properly !
One question:
i need to send 5v to the pin 9 of the l293d (vcc1 in the datasheet) , now i'm using a 7805, but for size reason i would use a zener 6,8 1.3W. I see that the VCC1 is "only" the internal logic of the H bridge , so i suppose that the needs are low ... maybe not more than 10mA ... is it right?
Considering that i wanna use different Voltage sources with the same project , i think to use something like that:
1 zener 6,8v 1.3w + resistor 56ohm.
In this situation i have :
with 24vcc source : more or less 280 mA with 5W! .... i know that the Ws are too many, but if the HBridge needs only 10 mA , i suppose that there is not a problem.
with 12vcc source: 65mA
with 9vcc source: 10mA
In your opinion is it a reasonable solution?
