#3891 For those with the stuck blue LED, flashing with the Lua firmware resolved that one for me.

However, to truly smoke one of these babies, just let a wire on a GPIO pin brush a +12V rail for a tiny instant and it will turn in to a marvelous little heater.

The red LED still lights, though :)

It all happened so fast!

Anyway, I was just going to suggest you to check power supply.

I also had semiconstant blue led + screen full of garbage...... hew !!!

A conspicous revision of procedures lend me to finally power the poor thing from outside...
It was just hungry......
