#38495 i did fill out all the info for getting the time and supposedly the temp.
on the weather SNTP section i modified the link so i get my weather here in
Fayetteville NC (KFAY) and not NY"s weather ( KNYC ) but still the the time does not update at all
the display does not tell you what version is running.. i do not even know how to tell if it is connected to internet or not,, the blue wifi light blinks once every few min tho..
i sent a note to the maker of the clock and see if he responds soon..
i'll let you all know..

Log into your wireless router's admin page and see if you see the connection from the esp8266? You will know it's the esp8266 because the MAC address starts with 18:fe:34. That should tell you that it is at least connected to your wifi router. You might also be able to tell that it has an IP address if your router shows the dhcp leases it has handed out. The blink might just be repeating a failing DHCP request.

You'd have to say what kind of router you have. Then, if you did a google search for dhcp lease list and the router model you'd probably get an answer better than mine. :-)
You're welcome.
