- Thu Jan 28, 2016 4:59 am #39862 I have a Nodemcu Amica. I tried the supplied loader, which seems to load but didnt run. No wifi ESP came up. Tried lots of things, flashing back to nodemcu lua worked. So I ended up using the

as I have win 10 x64
then downloaded the esp8266 basic precompiled bin 4mb

(click on the raw button to download)
Then ran the flasher, and changes the file to point to the downloaded bin
and it worked!.

Its located here and describes many of the details that might bee lacking in the docs on the site.
