Will the soldermask over the antenna affect the range/performance?

- Fri Dec 05, 2014 8:40 am #4051 No, it won't affect performance. Depending whether the antenna resonance length was designed with the solder mask or not it may affect the resonance centre frequency slightly but I wouldn't worry about it.

Only if it the mask is carbon based (black) or metallic would it affect performance.
