I worked out that in 100 miles per hour (160Km/h) wind, i would get an event every 3 to 4 milliseconds. (If we ever get winds that strong where i live, the anemometer won't be my first concern.) So that would be one event in every 60 to 80 executions of loop(). The other sensors' events are much less frequent. I want to sample the wind direction sensor perhaps every 100ms, and the rain guage events will bs a few per minute in heavy rain, and the pulses from that seem to last at least 20ms.
