Hi,

there is some kind of "official" adapter for the ESP-07 to get it to fit into a breadboard (white PCB). On this adapter, there are three SMD parts (resistors?).

Can you please tell me what those parts are and what they do? I'm planning to create a circuit without the adapter and am concerned I may be missing something when not using those elements.

- Sat Mar 19, 2016 8:19 am #43546 As a coincidence I appear to own one of these adapters. I had a look at it and it seems the parts are resistors and I think the solution to the question is actually on the back/bottom side of the adapter!

- Sat Mar 19, 2016 10:16 am #43555 Hi, haven't got one to hand but I think - the middle one 0 ohms and is a link between supply voltage and 3.3V as the regulator (3/4 pads on reverse) is not populated on the basic board. The other two are 10K ohms - one is a pull up for CH_PD and the other a pull up for GPIO 0.

- Sat Mar 19, 2016 10:30 am #43560 If you look at the back/bottom side, you can see there are pad for an optional LDO regulator. Apparently the SMD elements are capacitors for the LDO.
