- Sun Mar 27, 2016 3:38 pm #44140 I did a format and flash of a nodemcu. When I scan for the AP it is displayed as ESP1 but secured. I tried to wipe the flash using other tools yet it still requests a password.

Anyone else?

- Sun Mar 27, 2016 5:22 pm #44143 I flashed a different device and did not have this issue. It is most likely that the format and flash is not clearing everything. Updates will be posted here as I figure it out. Most likely I will flash the original AT firmware. That has worked for me in the past to revive nodes before.

- Sun Mar 27, 2016 6:36 pm #44145 If you use the format button in the flasher it will flash a formware that should format the device. You have to wait a minuet or so after flashing that to flash ofher firmware back on it.

If you use the format button in the flasher it will flash a formware that should format the device. You have to wait a minuet or so after flashing that to flash ofher firmware back on it.

I waited 3 minutes.
