Here are the pictures. Id really appreciate it if you could let me know exactly what needs to go where. Im getting really frustrated trying to program something so simple. Every site seems contradictory. I had seen the gpio0 needs to be pulled down. let me know. thanks

According to the picture, it is not an ESP12, but an ESP07, which of course has a Red LED directly on power.
Yes, GPIO0 need to be bring to GND, but only for the UpLoad program mode. Otherwise, it should be pulled up for normal execute mode.

thanks for that insight. So what pins do i need to pull down and what pins do i need to pull up to get this into programming mode. thanks
