ESP8266 WiFi Driver via AT Commands (UART)

can you please suggest some good libraries/drivers that use AT commands to drive the ESP8266.

Idea is to connect ESP8266 via UART to some another MCU, like STM32F4. So this driver would preferably be in pure C (not Arduino flavour).
