- Wed Apr 20, 2016 3:30 pm #45884 Hi everybody, i totally new on the ESP and tried to flash a esp 8266-1 with the basic flasher V 2.0.
Every time i try it will respond with a bounce of dots..............................................................
I did it on two different esp's
What I'm i doing wrong?????

- Thu Apr 21, 2016 6:19 am #45914 i tried that no replay from the unitstrang thing when i reflash the unit with nodemcu it will have the IP adress 192.168.4.1.
very strange something is going in the esp but not all.

a) Not enoigh power - USB only is not sufficient. Add an external power
b) Windows 8/10 compatibility issue with some FTDI chips - google it and buy a new one
c) RX/TX pin interverted (just swap them)
