#46082 How about the TPS73633DCQ?
Data sheet: http://www.farnell.com/datasheets/1950651.pdf

My cheap lab power supply indicates power usage of about 80mA, but I know it doesn't display the spikes when WiFi is transmitting. I have no idea how big the spikes are. This LDO regulator can handle 400mA, should be plenty right?

What do you guys think? Will it work? Is it overkill?
They're relatively expensive, compared to other chips I think, but then at just under € 3, you buy high efficiency and less headaches.

#46096 This voltage regulator seems to look fine.
But, you in case, as power reserve, I would keep a big capacitor, such 100uF, on the 3.3V side along with 100nF decoupling ...
