- Tue May 03, 2016 12:56 am #46747 i have a problem now , after assembling the board with all parts , if i powered it using USB-Serial it works fine and i was able to flash the FW normally.
but if i power it through the AC-DC now power is going to the ESP-12F at all.

and why when i checked the voltage between the two capacitors lead it's giving 5.25V both.
and 3.3V output showing Zero.
and i have checked that no short beteween the Vin and Vout of AMS1117 regulator

- Wed May 04, 2016 8:46 am #46868 i don't like to answer my own questions but this is my mistake that in Voltage source (5V) and out voltage source (3.3V)
should be sharing the same Ground so the Voltage regulator will actually work.
that seems to be one of the basics but i am a beginner here and that was not written on the AMS1117 datasheet unfortunately.

i just solved this by just a small drop of solder to connect both grounds.
and now every thing is working fine.
