Try with another module ...

What is your personal experience? Did you measure any?

What kind of multimeter? The 450E could possibly on some meters mean error or greater than highest reading of meter.
Usually you would get flashing display with the E however indicating a very high input impedance.


I assume you measured it with no power applied.
Use the diode test range it your meter has one.



If you get close to the same reading with a known good one consider it bad.

If you were using an older analog meter you could be applying to much volage to the input.

- Sat Jun 18, 2016 2:18 pm #49397 Hi, I've just checked a 4.7K pull up I have on GPIO 0 and it has 1.7mV across it. If you consider that to be half of a resistor divider with 3.3V applied to it, then:
4700 ohms / 0.0017 Volts = 2,764,705 * 3.3 Volts = 9,123,529 ohms
So 10 M ohms.
