Is this only to Basic-Interpreter related?

I've freed up the Pin(LED)(and cutting it with knife) by resoldering at the PCB directly to VSS.
Then I used this Pin for SD-card CS after connect the SD-MOSI, SD-MISO and SD-CLK to corresponding ones pins with wires.
It works also with NodeMCU v1 ..
