- Tue Aug 23, 2016 12:28 am #53639 you were right, i installed the esp core library and it compiles fine. now i have problem on uploading the sketch. I've selected Generic ESP8266 Module from the boards but i think I've connected the esp to the arduino incorrectly. I was using softwereserial library while using this :
GND - GND
GPIO and GPIO2 - NC
VCC, RST and CH_PD - 3.3v
RX - 3
TX - 2
should i change it?

- Tue Aug 23, 2016 7:41 am #53656 As stated in so many places and threads, GPIO2 and GPIO0 needs PullUps, and the GPIO0 needs to be grounded temporarily during power-up or reset to get into Upload mode.

now i can connect to the server and i can send a URL and use get method for sending data to the server. the problem is i can not read data from the server. this part of the example should give me the answer of the request which contains the page's HTTP's, but I'm not receiving the HTTP on the serial monitor. what should i do?
