I'm able to load sketches, but it doesn't seem to be sending or receiving GPIO data. It loads the blink sketch, but doesn't blink the builtin LEDs and when I run my MPU 6050 sketch it prints to the serial monitor but all the values are contestant. I have checked the pin outs several times and am confident I have it wired up correctly. Is there a reason it may not be reading and writing to the GPIO?

@Michael,
Are you selecting Adafruit's Huzzah from the ArduinoIDE as the board type? If yes, you may wish to explore this further in the Adafruit help forums ... there are differences from the common NoduMCU.
