Up until last mentioned, the esp 12f has been a worthless piece of hardware that has crashed, not worked as expected and overall, wasted my time and money, flipping the power input to 5v solved every issue I have ever had and the chip has been working since I fell asleep, something that has not happened for more than 6hours max in the last lonnnng time.

Issues solved by 5v:
OTA update now works,
without a 3v reg can be powered by a 5v power source (previously on multiple BRAND NEW chips, the device would not power with less than 12v as documented multiple times on this forum by myself.
No more crashes
Either every single 12f have tested is totally messed up, or I am right, facts speak for themselves, the above issues were solved by a 5v power supply. Issues that I have had for many months now solved. Read back my posts I have made. These are totally new chips that arrived the other day, they had the same issues, they now do not by providing a 5v input/

In addition there is actually nothing that any one can say that will change my view on this simple fact is before they did not work, now they do.
