I would like to use capabilities of ESP built into A7 GPS GPRS module.
I was told the only way to do it is with SDK which is nover to get.

Does anyone knows where to get it and how to proceed with creating A7 own development environment?

Are you sure about that? I couldn't found any information about an ESP integrated inside A7 module. Maybe it's the A20?

recently I had a chat with AI-Thinker developer, this info I got from him. SDK is not open source but no answer where to get one. I have good results comparing A7 vs SIM800/900 and my point was to control GPIO and A7 itself by ESP built inside. Now I use microcontroller outside and A7 just as interface. I can imagine using power behind A7 locally.
I think I could solve my project with A7 itself.By the way I have one A7 module which booted well but accept no communicationat Ux serial lines.Any idea why? I am using n-channel mosfet pull-down reset as well.Hope that Topic will attract visitors!

But AFAIK A7 only accept AT commands. So, no programming.
About the comm, are you using the correct port config?
