- Wed Jan 25, 2017 11:20 pm #61538 New fields are for static IP once you set a static IP it remains that IP in ap and sta mode also there is an option to run your code at start or not run your code at start.

The option for OTA is there as well in my guide I walk you through how to grab the latest update from my OTA server so you don't need to take it and hook it to your computer to upgrade you simply insert the link into OTA click save then when ever a new version is available just click update and viola your esp gets updated providing you have a 4MB nodemcu.

Hope that helps a bit. If you mess with static IP settings DO NOT FORGET your IP not that it is impossible to get but it is best you do not forget it as it will be non standard also be sure to match your routers subnet and be within its range for IP values 192.168.1.X is the typical value x normally being a value of 2-50 or 50 - 100.

Anyhow that is the brunt of it. It is for the most part the same but more clean in general.
