ESP is connected only to Arduino node. Raspberry do not need ESP, only network connection (cable connection or WiFi dongle).

That's what I wanted to know. Thank you very much!

Now I just need to spread sensors all over the house

There is project to run Arduino code directly on ESP8266. I don't know in what phase is this project and I did not tested it. Theoretically EasyIoT library can work with it.

First of all I really like the library and screenshots I have seen so far.
I do not own or plan on buying a raspberry pi but I am using arduino's in combination with esp8266 modules.
Are there any plans to make the server executable run-able on an iis server?
I took a look at the libraries and they are all .net based so I do not think it would need much rework.
