ESP01 in AP_Mode not show ssid

When i start WiFi.softAPIP(), I not see error occur.
But i can not see my ssid appear in network(Wifi) detection.

Are you saying that no other device can see ssid ASDFGQWERT?

Dear philbowles,
I already trying to detect wifi network but i not see in available network. I use notebook,iphone, samsung mobile but every device not see ssid "ASDFGQWERT".
I just update firmware of ESP01, but not working.
I think may be this hardware is break. Can you recommend me to do?
