ESP8266 Community Forum

- Fri Jun 30, 2017 2:54 am #67750 I'm trying to connect my ESP-01 module to my home network, but for some reason it just wont. It connects perfectly well to my phone hotspot and also to my neighbour's wifi. I'm guessing its some configuration/security issue with my router? Its the basic WiFiClient example i've uploaded to the board. I'm using the esp8266 by ESP8266 Community version 2.3.0 board package on Arduino 1.8.3. My wifi router is by D-Link, DIR-600M.

- Mon Jul 03, 2017 3:40 am #67845 I have the same problem, I use a nodeMCU. If I run WifiScan it lists all my WiFi points in my home including the mobile hotspot of the phone. However I can only connect to my phone. Signal strength of the inaccessables is OK (around -70 - 65).
Any suggestion is much appreciated.
