I'm having some difficulty uploading an Arduino sketch to the ESP12-E module using a standard Sparkfun FTDI USB-serial converter (getting a espcomm_upload_mem failed error). Are there any particular issues with the circuit I'm using to reset/program the ESP8266?

- Sat Jul 08, 2017 6:08 am #68066 Where are you getting your 3.3V from? If direct from the serial interface then that could be a problem as it probably does not supply enough current for the esp8266.

It is best to provide the 3.3V direct either from 3.3V LDO linear reg from 5V supply or with a buck converter.
