It is not for prototyping, but I'm considering to use with a new project, there is time and money into account.

If you are speculating with the promises of their web-page be prepared to find more questions than answers in the documentation encountering "not yet fully implemented" functionality.

I was expecting that in the Arduino environment the ESP32 would do at least the same things as the ESP8266 do, only with the advantage of having half a dozen more pins, like any other normal microcontroller, just that; The problem is that even ESP32 has only the 1 example of the "SimpleWebServer" which is absurdly more complicated than the "Webserver" of ESP8266. Anyway, still hopeful to hear the experience of anyone who has already done this migration.
