That means i do not make a obvious mistake?!
I ordered a few more ESP to test with...

Actually it is all my fault!

I re-read this post 3497 times because I wanted to have another laugh (err, I mean look) at that circuit diagram. Did anyone mention fake news?

I added 2,7k resistors on:
CH_PD as pullup
and
GPIO0 and GPIO15 as pulldown.

Flashing works pefectly fine now.

What was the problem when pulling these Ports to gnd/vcc direct? Was there an overcurrent? I thought the were used as input and not as output.


I appreciate your help.

I 've even changed my signature (see below my post), because of the many first-timers having identical problems.

Assumption is the mother of all f*ckups. At least: that's what I'm assuming.
